Born in Magenta in 1957, he is a founding partner with his brother Aldo Mainini, a certified public accountant, of Mainini & Associates.

He graduated from UNiversità Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan in 1985 and continued his university career by becoming an expert in tax law. Then he chose to pursue the sole profession as a lawyer, first in the office of Prof. Tesauro and Prof. Allorio, then in the office of Maupoil and later in Mainini & Associati.

He has held numerous positions on boards of auditors and supervisory committees of S.p.A., including listed ones, credit institutions and Sgr, as well as in some extraordinary administrations of national importance.

He is a referral lawyer for two ministries and the Courts of Milan and Monza.

He is a legal auditor, judicial receiver and custodian, and an advocate before the Superior Courts.

He focuses on civil law, corporate restructuring and bankruptcy proceedings, and labor law.

A member of the Milan Golf Club, he is an avid golfer.
